This dress is absolutely my favorite this summer from Loft! The fabric is light weight and flattering. The stripes are fun and perfect for summer! Not to mention this dress is romantic and flirty and just absolutely perfect for a date night out or a day at the Vineyard! You really can’t go wrong with this beauty! Check out the links below to shop my entire look. Happy Shopping!
This summer has been super busy for all of us, and sometimes we had to remind each other to slow down an take a deep breath! We are trying to play catch up with our posts and decided to highlight our summer faves in one post for your viewing pleasure!
First up, let’s talk about these super cute palazzo pants! They are so lightweight and super comfy – definitely perfect for summer , either at work, or out and about! I purchased them at Target, but unfortunately they’re all sold out! Don’t fret I have linked similar pairs below that are just as cute! I paired my pants with a neutral bodysuit, strappy nude heels and fun accessories to bring everything together!

What else screams summer outfit more than a crop top and crop pants? This combo was definitely a fave for me! The pink crop top worked so well with the cropped pants, it was like they were made for each other!! And check out these super fabulous pink strappy pumps! The perfect shade of pink to compliment the crop top! I added some bling with the gorgeous Nahla necklace from Stella & Dot.
You can’t go through the Summer season without a good romper, or jumpsuit! The following are two of my faves! What I love most about this jumpsuit is the fun off-the-shoulder style and the flared pant leg! (Don’t tell anyone, but it’s really supposed to be culottes, but because of my petite frame, they actually worked as regular pant length!) It can be dressed up with a pair of heels, or dressed down with flats. The romper caught my eye because of the vibrant purple color and pretty florals. It’s no too short, or too loose! These can also be dressed up for date night, or dressed down for a day at the winery! Both of these a are so versatile and definitely perfect for any Summer day!
Summer is the time to pull out the bright and vibrant colors, which is why I chose this beautiful coral ensemble! The blouse is lightweight and compliments the black and white pleated skirt nicely! If you look close enough, you can see little coral flecks embedded in the skirt! Of course, I had to wear matching coral shoes because……why not?!
Sorry for the delay in posts, we have all been super busy with life and changes (for the better!) But I have decided to put together a few of my favorite outfits. The dress I bought about a year and a half ago, is from Ross which which in my opinion is the best place for dresses. . It’s super versatile, I’ve worn it to a wedding and also to work. And since it’s super difficult to find online, I will give some dupes. Also, because it was missing the belt I got the price taken down even more!
You can recognize this blouse from an earlier post, it is so flattering that I try to wear it as often as you can wear a bright pink top! These high wasted pants are from New York and Co. and I have had them for at least 5 years and have worn them probably a thousand times. I am debating taking the seam out so I can wear them with higher heels, but my lazier side is telling me they are OK the way they are.
Last but not least is this full skirt that I loooove. I honestly feel like I am in the wrong generation, and if I could have a closet full of full skirts and dresses, I would. This whole outfit (besides the shoes) is New York and Company.
Oh my goodness where to begin! I’ve decided to combine all of my favorite work wear and casual outfits from this summer into one awesome post. A lot of these items are on sale now (basically all of them) so I wanted to give them to you guys all at one time! First must have on my list are the Floral Pleated Shorts from Loft, now 50% off! They are flattering, light weight, and a gorgeous addition to your closet! My Second favorite are the Striped Tie Waist Trousers from Loft! They are now only $39.99 with an extra 50% off! And for all my tall girls out there, I recommend buying them in the tall vice regular, they are by far more flattering in the tall! My third favorite is the Red Ruffle Off The Shoulder top from Loft (I think y’all can see my favorite store is Loft!) which are also 50% off right now! I’ve also provided my favorite skits for summer work and/or casual outfits and even though I don’t have the exact item listed below, my similars for these two skirts are on point! I found this pretty summery sheath dress hidden amidst all the clothes in my closet and decided to dust it off! Even though it is is three seasons old, it’s still a classic piece that can be worn for years to come. What I love most about this dress is the subtle pop of yellow throughout the blue, black and white hues. Luckily for me, I had a pair of bright yellow heels and a bangle to match, which completed the whole ensemble!
So, I almost forgot how much I love this skirt, the brightness of the whole outfit cheers me up. I used to wear it with flats, when I had to walk around a lot, so it wasn’t very flattering, but once I started pairing it with heels it stopped looking frumpy. Both of these bright and gorgeous pieces were from JC Penney so you know they were a great price, but aren’t available anymore, but dupes are in the links!
Vacations are in full swing and my essentials this year were tropical skirts, romantic dresses, crop tops, fun patterns, and floppy hats! The bikini is from Cupshe and it was only $18.99! My cousin rocked the floral dress from Target and I brought my favorite flowy skirt from Urban Outfitters! I’ve provided lots of similar looks below for the fun flowy skirt and the gorgeous dress from Target! My favorite item this trip was the floppy hat! You can find this hat on Etsy with a bunch of phrases to choose from and colors! Click the links below to check out my vacation must haves!

When I wear this skirt, it always reminds me of the fifties – the era of poodle skirts and swing dresses! You can also add a tulle petticoat underneath to give the skirt a bit more oomph! I decided to keep it simple, just like they did back then, and paired it with a classic cropped black cardigan and added the chunky red beaded necklace to match the color of the flowers! This was definitely a fun outfit to put together!
This is one of my go-to outfits. I think it’s a classic look and the shape of these clothes together are flattering no matter your body type. This entire outfit is probably 7 years old (yes, seven) but it never goes out of style! Sometimes I like to belt it, but today I wasn’t feeling it, also, I used to pair this with my black pumps but they were eaten (ok, and they were worn out) so I wore these floral pumps again! The pants are The Limited and both the tops are from New York and Company.
Sometimes you have to bring the beach to work! I really love these two dresses because they were made with the beach in mind. The stripe dress from Loft, is light a flowy with a summer time stripe pattern. Make sure you size down in this dress, it tends to run large! The blue dress is from Mahi Gold and it’s so comfortable with its cotton fabric and the pattern screams beach time. I paired each dress with the Charles David wedges from DSW!
